Adventure, Creativity, and Mental Gymnastics

I grew up on the rural outskirts of Santa Cruz county in Northern California with a healthy appreciation of outdoor sports including hiking the sierras, biking single track through redwood forests, and carving up Alpine Meadows in the winters. Since moving to Cincinnati, OH I've been doing more wakeboarding, wakesurfing, and waterskiing than I have ever before!

As an artist I have been a dancer, a potter, sculptor, illustrator, and painter. I have always been compulsively creative person as well as analytical. I'm a technology and science geek! I listen to TED talk podcasts, follow new break throughs in science and tech and subscribe to maker youtube channels. I love figuring out mechanisms and demystifying how things are made.

Since working at Ethicon I have distinguished myself as the go to innovation guy, focusing on surgical innovation development, pre charter skunk works projects, and the flagship surgical robotics venture between Google and Johnson and Johnson. I'm always looking for opportunities to learn and innovate!
